Join us this week as we wind up our Summer message series, “Heroes.” We’ll be looking at Jonah and what he can teach us about a life of faith. You might be wondering, “Why Jonah?” I mean, he’s known for his bad choices and the chaos that ensued. But the truth is, those who have made bad choices can sometimes teach us the most! They’re the ones who know best what it means to have a God of second chances. Bring a friend who needs to know that as long as we’re still breathing – there’s hope!

What’s coming up at Living Stones:
Vacation Bible School for kids K-5th Grade is July 26-30, 4 – 6:30 pm at our Alii Drive site. Kids can still put their names on a waiting list by contacting karen@konakidsoutreach.com. And there’s room for adult helpers!
We’re excited to have Jon Dunagan, of Harvest Ministry, preaching at 6 pm this Sunday, July 25! Jon has had a long, fruitful ministry in winning souls, loving orphans and mobilizing mission-minded families.
A three week evening “Apologetics” series with Ken Van Bergen begins Sunday, August 1 @ 6 pm. It’s a great opportunity to become better equipped in knowing why we can trust the Bible and understanding how to respond to questions on Christianity vs. other religions.
Summer Sunset BBQ is back! Join us on Wednesday, August 4 @ 6 pm. We’ll provide all the food. (Prepared & served with safety protocols in place.) In addition to great food and fellowship, we’ll spend a few minutes looking at what’s ahead for Living Stones.
Our “Best of Israel Tour” is scheduled for April 25-May 7, 2022. Join us for an Information Night on Thursday, August 12, 6:30 pm at Alii Drive. We’ll provide further details on the trip, answer questions you may have, and begin the registration process. This year’s “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting” will be August 8 – 29. It’s a time we set aside as a church to break out of normalcy, seek the presence of God, pursue fresh direction and breakthrough, and simply develop new habits. It’s an opportunity to experience the power of prayer impacting your relationships, work, family, health and every other area of your life. We also encourage fasting during this time as a spiritual next step that can bring clarity and added power into your life. We’ll have further instructions and resources available at our Connection Table and website. Watch also for social media updates and prayer points, along with dates and times for corporate prayer & worship throughout the 21 days. Prayer changes things! It’s why Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13).
