Hi living stones,

Since the founding of Living Stones Church, prayer has been a primary focus. Jesus said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” It’s not about a religious ritual, but talking with God. It’s a habit – a rhythm of life – to be learned and developed, which is a primary reason we set aside “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting” every year.

This year “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting” will be August 10-30. It’s an opportunity to seek the presence of God, pursue fresh direction and breakthrough, and simply develop new habits. It’s a season when we expect to experience the power of prayer impacting every area of our lives. Fasting is also encouraged as a spiritual next step that can supercharge prayer.

We will have further instructions and resources available at our Connection Table each Sunday and on our website. Watch also for social media updates and prayer points. Corporate prayer & testimonies will be held weekly @ Ali’i Drive (Thursdays @ 6:00pm August 13, 20, & 27).
 

Also coming up in August:

Our final “Sunset Supper” for Summer 2026 is this Wednesday, August 5 at 6:00pm. We’ll provide the main dish & drinks. You bring a side dish or dessert and a friend. It’s going to be great!

Small Group Leader Orientation / Re-Orientation at Ali’i Drive is on Wednesday, August 19 @ 6:00pm. This is for all small group leaders, as well as those wanting to find out what’s involved in leading or hosting a Living Stones small group this fall.

Water Baptisms will be at Ali’i Drive on Sunday, August 30 @ 11:45 am, and you can sign up here.  Baby dedications will be the same day right after worship, at the 9:00am & 10:30am services.

Our Pine Trees location is kicking off a new sermon series this Sunday called Rhythms. In it, we’ll be looking at the practices that both energize and mature our walk with Jesus.
