Hi living stones,

Bring a friend and join us Sunday as we spend another week looking at “how-tos” of spiritual maturity. Specifically, how to live an integrated life, where the distinctions we draw between sacred and secular are largely erased. Where we come to see that living with an eternal mindset is the wisest way to live. In fact, it’s the only way that keeps us from wasting our lives.
 

COMING UP IN SEPTEMBER AT LIVING STONES CHURCH:

Signups for the “Alpha Course” continue this Sunday. Alpha is a seven-week overview of the Christian faith for newcomers, that also serves as a brush up on the basics for those who have been Christians for awhile. It’s a great opportunity to create new relationships and includes a free supper and childcare each week. The course begins Wednesday, September 23, at 6pm, on the lawn at Ali’i Drive. Register online here or at the Ali’i Drive signup tables after any service this Sunday. And invite a friend to take the course with you!

Already taken the Alpha Course? Then it’s time to connect with a Small Group. We have plenty of options for you this fall. Check them out under “Small Groups” at www.livingstoneschurch.com (linked here) or at the signup tables after any service this Sunday.

High School and Junior High Ministries are back! Junior High meets Tuesdays at 6pm, and High School on Thursdays at 6pm. Both at Ali’i Drive. Contact Brandee (brandee@livingstoneschurch.com) for further details.

Join us for our new monthly “Kupuna Gathering” on Saturday, September 19, at 9am. It’s a time geared for folks 55+ with a free breakfast & a focus on worship, an encouraging message, and fellowship. Bring a friend!

For those who like to read ahead, we’ll be starting a new sermon series on “John’s Gospel” beginning Sunday, September 20, with an accompanying study/small group booklet available.
