Dear living stones,
As a church, we’re choosing to Build a Culture of Faith. It’s a faith in the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s a faith that believes that Jesus Christ purchased our forgiveness and our access to the Father. An access that is available through prayer.
That’s why we set aside “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting” each year. It’s a season to break out of normalcy, seek the presence of God, pursue fresh direction and breakthrough, and simply develop new habits. It’s an opportunity to experience the power of prayer impacting your relationships, work, family, and every other area of your life. We also encourage fasting during this time as a spiritual next step that can bring clarity and added power into your life.
This year, we’re setting aside August 9-30, as a time to seek the Lord together in prayer and fasting. We’ll have further instructions and resources available to help you. “21 Days of Prayer & Fasting” booklets will be available at both sites beginning this Sunday, along with online materials. Watch also for regular social media updates and prayer points throughout the 21 days (Facebook & Instagram). We’ll kick things off on Sunday, August 9 at 6:00 pm with a Prayer & Worship time at Alii Drive and close off the same way on Sunday, August 30 at 6:00 pm.
Prayer changes things. Expect it!

A few other reminders of what’s coming up:
The Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at all services this Sunday. If you’re joining us online, have your juice/wine and bread available in advance to participate in your living room with your family.
Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 to refresh your focus on what it’s all about.
Tune in this Sunday, August 2 at 7:30 pm. for the first installment of “Message of Hope,” a new segment in the Farish Media TV show “Everything Hawaii.” The show airs eight times weekly on Spectrum Cable – Spectrum OC16 on channel 16 and 1016.
Don’t forget, Kid’s Kingdom materials are available at the entry of each site on Sundays, as well as online here if you’re worshipping at home.
