Dear living stones,
 

Well, 2022 has arrived. This a year with new opportunities and obstacles, new blessings and battles and yes, many new questions. But they all have one answer. It’s Jesus.

Decide now that Jesus is going to become your primary focus in 2022. Refuse to allow yourself to be preoccupied with anything else. It’s essential. Because whatever preoccupies your mind controls your life.

Coming up at Living Stones:
“Alpha Course” begins Wednesday, January 19, 6 pm at Alii Drive. It’s a 7 week overview of the Christian faith, that also serves as a great brush up on the basics for those who have been Christians for awhile. It’s also a great opportunity to create new relationships and includes a free sunset supper each week! We encourage everyone to take Alpha at least once!

If you’ve already taken the Alpha Course and are not in a small group, there are a few options for you this winter. Check them out under “Small Groups” here or at our signup tables this Sunday.
High School and Junior High Ministries resume at Alii Drive next week, January 11 & 13. Junior High meets Tuesdays @ 6 pm and High School now meets Thursdays @ 6 pm.

Our “Freedom Ministry Team” is recruiting new ministry members. As part of the training process, a “Hope, Healing, and Freedom Seminar” led by Dave Samuels, will be running soon. Dave is a very gifted trainer and communicator. Small group leaders are also welcome to attend to help them become more effective leaders.
