Hi Living Stones,

Join us this week as we continue our summer message series, “Heroes.” We’re looking at what we can learn from some Old Testament heroes of faith. Specifically, what are the qualifications for hero status? They’re probably different than you think!

Last Sunday we saw qualification #1 is a BIG view of God. Looking at Moses, we see God actually chooses to use weak, broken, unqualified people to accomplish His purposes. They seem to learn most quickly that the confidence needed to accomplish God’s purposes doesn’t come from a clearer sense of our untapped potential, but on a clearer view of God. That is, His sovereignty, goodness and power.

We’ll move on in the coming weeks with seven other heroes who provide additional faith coaching. Let the summer of 2021, be a season you commit to prepare for the next step God has for you. You see, even if you don’t know your next step, you CAN still be prepared, because the faith principles you need most are those that keep you going no matter what changing circumstances come your way.
